KNOW YOUR MIND AND SEE YOUR NATURE

All that is fills no space,
And no space is all there is.
Here now, look here, look now

There are infinite paths to enlightenment,

but only one for you.

If you are looking then you have already found it.

No words can say it,

No ears can hear it.

No eyes can see it,

No light reflects off of nothing.

But everything flashes in the emptiness.

The closest description is one word:

Now!

One who doesn't understand
         does not see the game

One who understands knows that

         it is a game

One who knows that there is no game
         truly understands beyond understanding

It is not mind,
it is not Buddha,

It is not things.

            - The Gateless Gate, Koan 27

The Sutras say, When you see that all appearances are not appearances, you see the tathagatha {Buddha}." The myriad doors to the truth all come from the mind. When appearances of the mind are as transparent as space, they are gone.
                  - Bodhidarma

A word from the aware

A stick to the head

A walk in the woods

A dog gazing into my eyes

A storm gathering overhead

Gentle caresses in the twilight

Tears in the night

Being here now
